In computer science, GLMs are non-linear models, while in statistics, if outcome variables can be transformed via a link function to serve as outcomes of ordinary linear regression models, such models are Generalized Linear Models (GLMs).  Generalized Estimating Equations (GEE) can be used for parameter estimations for GLMs.
